The Wall Knights Wrestling Club is open to the youth of Wall Township and surrounding towns age 5 through 14. The program consists of three divisions that will each have practices scheduled 2-3 nights a week from early November through the end of February. We also have an All Girls Group which is open to Girl Wrestlers from Kindergarten through 8th Grade which involves two practices a week that is exclusively girls and allows for girls to have the opportunity to attend practice for one of our other groups which is age and experienced appropriate for them (The group is available to any girls who wish to participate in Monmouth and Ocean Counties however Girls who wish to compete in the JSJWL must compete for their respective towns). Our Advanced Group is for all wrestlers on our Wall 1 or Wall 2 Travel Teams which compete in the A and B Divisions of the Jersey Shore Junior Wrestling League (Wrestlers may need to wrestle off to ensure a spot on the JSJWL rosters). Our Intermediate Group is for wrestlers in first and second grade with two or more years of wrestling experience as well as wrestlers from 3rd-8th Grade that will compete for either Wall 3 JSJWL Travel Team or DEVO matches . The beginner group is for wrestlers in kindergarten as well as wrestlers in first and second grade with less than two years of wrestling experience. The beginner, intermediate, and girls groups will have the opportunity to compete through our developmental or DEVO program in which they are matched up according to experience with wrestlers in surrounding towns at DEVO matches. Wrestlers in all groups will be encouraged to wrestle in tournaments that are experience appropriate throughout the wrestling season.
